A variety of National Instruments mutifunction DAQ boards were used, as well as RS-232/485 and USB instrumentation. Several precision algorithms were developed for controlling exhaust valves using a stepper motor, as well as algorithms designed to ignite gases with a plasma device at precision intervals.
